Alison Wyndham, a physiotherapist and owner of The Wyndham Centres, believes that there is a long list of qualities that someone needs in order to make a good physiotherapist.
This includes having empathy, being a good listener, having a passion for work, being well organised and showing excellent time-keeping skills.
Ms Wyndham added that being flexible, adaptable and patient are all highly important qualities too, as is the skill of being a good communicator.
From her own experience, the physiotherapist added: "Don't underestimate how much a patient wants to know, explaining what you are going to do and why is important. Use 'hands on' physiotherapy, touch is so important in the healing process."
The Wyndham Centre has been providing swift and professional physiotherapy to people across the UK for affordable rates since 1979.
