People who love their jobs 'will achieve more success'

People who are planning out their career paths have been encouraged to seek out jobs which will not only earn them a decent living, but will be a joy to undertake as well.

This is according to Piya Khanna, executive coach at Change to Succeed, who believes that people who love their job will be more likely to invest more time in their work.

On top of this, an enhanced level of attention will be paid by those who enjoy going to work and they will also display more energy than an employee who is in a job simply to pay their bills and make a living.

To put this into context, Ms Khanna acknowledged that Steve Jobs and Bill Gates achieved great things in the corporate world because they loved the roles they were in. The same can be said about David Beckham and Jonny Wilkinson when it comes to successful sports stars.

"If you're not sure of what your passion is, some steps you can take to discover your passion include getting a career coach or life coach to help you with this and also reading books on the subject," the executive coach went on to state.
