The highlights of the Successful Selling 2012 event

The Successful Selling 2012 event has been praised for allowing a number of experienced names in the sales business to deliver important tips to a wide number of people.

According to The Sales Pro, five-time New York Times/Wall Street Journal bestselling author Larry Winget was one of the highlights of the show at Coventry's Ricoh Arena.

Described by the website as being "wonderfully provocative and humorous" throughout his keynote speech, Mr Winget advised the audience of the keys to being successful in a variety of professions.

"Want to know the 'secret ' of customer care? Be nice!" he explained. "Want to know the 'secret' of selling? Ask (again and again if necessary. And if that doesn't work, go see somebody else!). Want to know the 'secret ' of leadership? Get out in front of people – give them something to follow!"

Mr Body Language Allan Pease was also praised for being able to blend entertainment with top learning to captivate those in attendance of his keynote speech.

One of his underlining points was to urge job candidates to get their body language right in the first four minutes of an interview, otherwise they heighten their risk of jeopardising success before a meeting has been allowed to develop.
