A poll carried out by Kelly services as part of its Global Workforce index shows that further 34 per cent of staff would make a move overseas to fill their perfect role.
According to the data, the desire to move is more prevalent among younger workers, with 85 per cent of staff aged between 18 and 29 prepared to relocate for a job, compared with 76 per cent of 30 to 47-year-olds and 63 per cent of staff aged 48 and over.
The survey also found that half of staff are currently working in what they consider "unconventional arrangements", such as long or unusual hours, having multiple jobs or excessive travel.
A recent survey carried out by Aaron Wallis Sales Recruitment found that sales professionals working in the south-west had the greatest sense of job security, while the region has the highest proportion of people in the country earning over £100,000 a year.
