A poll carried out by Hays and seen by the Recruiter suggests that two-thirds of employers in the sector are focusing on staff retention, which may include sales recruitment positions, in the coming months.
In addition, the data shows that 40 per cent of employers are concerned that they will not be able to retain top talent, while almost 70 per cent of senior finance professionals are already looking for a new role.
Chris McCarthy, director of the organisation, told the website that firms of all sizes have been lifting recruitment freezes, while many organisations are now also willing to pay more to fill vacancies permanently.
"Competition has already intensified to the extent that senior finance professionals routinely receive more than one job offer," he explained.
According to a recent poll carried out by XpertHR as part of its annual HR roles and responsibilities survey, the majority of private sector employers are aiming to improve the ways in which they attract new talent, which could include sales recruitment candidates.
