Martin Reed, chairman and chief executive of Thomas International, told HR Magazine that psychometric testing is known for multi-purpose, streamlined and cost-effective assessments.
"It can help businesses maximise the potential of their staff, from recruitment right through the lifecycle of an employee, encompassing training, development, staff satisfaction, retention and team efficiency," he explained.
The expert said that it is no longer the preserve of "dry academia", with psychometric testing finally making its way into the business arena in a way that line managers and smaller companies can relate to.
Mr Reed said it is encouraging to see smaller businesses being "empowered" through their new experience of psychometrics and predicted this to increase in the months and years ahead as the benefits of the process become more widely known.
With consultants that are British Psychological Society (BPS) level A and level B accredited Aaron Wallis are able to offer a wide range of psychometric tools, personality tests, aptitude tests and ability tests.
