The report from ManpowerGroup published today (December 11th) suggested that the first quarter of 2013 will have a net employment growth of six per cent – up three per cent from previous estimates.
Mark Cahill, managing director of the group, explained that most of the jobs growth would be driven by a relatively small amount of high-performing firms.
It is the latest boost for people seeking work and continues the trend of a strong labour market in the UK, despite an uncertain economic footing.
A similar piece of research from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and KPMG released yesterday revealed that the hiring rate in the UK during November was the fastest it has been in over 18 months.
